Greetings from Sunny Queensland Australia

Greetings all from Queensland Australia, where its hot and humid and if the snakes don't get you the mosquitoes will pick you up and carry you away. Im in the process of doing a rebuild of my 61 Dynamic 88 Bubbletop. She has been off the road for a couple of years following a slight bingle and no time due to work commitments. But time has been freed up, sourced a drivers side fender and front chrome bar and headlight bezel so I am looking forward to bringing her back to life. It had been fitted prior to my owning it with a 350 Chev and Turbo 350...but it will have a Big Block Olds fitted, respray in something representative of the 60's, maybe something a little psychedelic, new wiring loom, new trim and the shaved doors now have recessed door handles that suit....hated the poppers and they are illegal here....And in 09 it picked up Peoples Choice best American Import at a car show, ahead of a $200K build 57 Chev....just shows how unique these cars are, few and far between here and it was a real talking point.

Welcome. Your environment sounds like south Louisiana during the other part of the year. The '61 looks great!

Welcome to the club, looks like you got yourself a very interesting and exciting project. I'm sure this ride will be getting only better with all the work you planned on it. Good luck!
