1966 442 or clone?
I bought a 66 Cutlass Conv but the more reseach you guys help me with it is turning out to be a 442. Is there any way to tell a 442 from a Cutlass besides the cowl tag?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Your cowl tag has a V in column 5. That is 100% proof that it came from the factory with the 442 option. It is not a clone regardless of what is on the car now.

Were there many of the 66 convert 442 made....I have a chance to buy one that needs full resto...just wondering..
