Just to introduce myself and show a few of the projects I have completed and my new one on the build.
In Australia we have several mud run events. These are a country gathering of old school jalopies and purpose made vehicles for slinging around a circular dirt track. No racing, just as many hot laps as you can get in going sideways on opposite lock. Built a mad machine from a '27 Buick tourer and 350 SBC and power-glide. Those are the first images.
Next up I built a '42 Dodge pickup on a '37 Hudson chassis, Chrysler poly 318 power, fully engineered with full registration plates. Driving the wheels off this one.
New project is Olds 371 powered '29 Chev 4 door on '36 Chev Chassis. Will be low and mean. Will keep you posted....

Welcome Dave. That looks like fun. Check out Charlie Jones on here. He went through a 394 and has a meticulous build. I would suggest forged pistons for your use.

Hey Eddie, Yeah there seems to be plenty of stuff in the 'States.....
I have bought 2 x sets of those Lakester headders from HellGate Hot rods. One for my Dodge Pickup and one for the Mud runner. They look awesome and once you get used to making the correct cuts in the tubes, they come out real nice.... Hell Gate Hot Rods kit for Chrysler Poly 318A
