Proud new owner of a 72 Convertible - Project
Hi all,
My name is Dale. I live in Escondido CA, just north of San Diego.
I just picked up a 72 Cutlass Supreme convertible to begin working on with my youngest son. I built a beautiful 69 Chevelle with my oldest son, so now my youngest wants to do the same.
I sold my 70 all original 445 GTO a few years ago and have been dying without a car to work on.
My biggest concern is that I haven't seen any SOCAL people on the Olds forum. I was looking through the classifieds and everyone is in the midwest!!! Any SOCAL people out there!
Anyway, I am sure I will get plenty of use from this forum and everyone's expertise. Thanks in advance!

Welcome Aboard Dale.
Don't worry about Socal people on the site. A lot of members don't post their location so that's part of the mystery solved. There's a thing called the Classic Oldsmobile Map (but again it's only going to show you who bothered to register on it. http://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=149866 )
I also have a 72 Cutlass - just not a vert. Great project. These cars are fun to work on. Not like the newfangled computer cars.
