Smile Newbie from Seattle/Pittsburgh

Hey there. I have a 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88. Im trying to restore it right now (so if anyone has parts let me know!) and potentially am going to sell it (college loans). Just dropping a line or two to make myself known.

regards,

keith

College loans are a part of life. I am still paying on my daughter's loans from years ago. No reason to sell you Oldsmobile. Welcome to our site.

I think you mean Primanti Bros. (with the fries and slaw on the sandwich?)

And don't forget an Iron City Beer to wash it all down!

I guess I have to if I can't spell the name of the joint with the fries and coleslaw in the sandwich.

Ok Mike " You were right................I was wrong"

That's easy for me to say, I say it at least a dozen times a day to my "Super Model"

They do make a great sandwich. I have even been there. Now I am hungry again. Happens everytime Jamsbo posts. GO figure

As you can see I am a 50's Olds fan as well. Like those 56's. This is a great place for info.

Welcome to here.

Who pays back college loans?
I sold my mint Astro van for college money for my daughter, I drive her car now, Hello Kitty seat covers and all.
My Vista Cruiser may be my daily driver when she takes her car back to school next year.
Throw some sandbags in the back and get some whitewall studded snows and she should fly through the snow.
You can sell the car to pay some bills but then you just have no car, you'll always have bills.

This site is also for food discussions, need recipes and pics.
They have those Primanti Bros. places in Florida too, being old-school born and raised in Cleveland I would rather go there to get a sangwitch instead of driving an hour and a half east to St##ler country.

Here you go Jamesbo, use the Ultimate Cloth to clean your monitor after consuming, don't forget to tip your waitress.

I bet you're even more hungry now Citcapp.

sardines

Jamesbo : Primanti Bros. sandwiches are number one with me. Pitts. is only 27 miles from me.But in a pinch I will eat a sardine sandwich. I can taste it now. Italian bread with a nice thick slice of onion and sardines in mustard. Yum, Yum

I am going to have to admit that even though I have lived on and off in Pittsburgh for 8 years, I never really found Primanti Brothers sandwhiches very appetizing. I have tried them and wasn't really impressed. Though, there is a place down the street from them called the Original Hot Dog Shop, another staple of Pittsburgh. I enjoy their dogs and O fries greatly...

I really do not want to sell my Olds but I here Sallie Mae calling my name, and I am applying to grad school which is just as expensive. I do appreciate the call for not selling it though. If I do, Ill post it here first. I have a couple of weeks to think about it.
