newbie from b.c. canada

the site is great ,some very nice rides and interesting threads .Been into oldsmobiles since my dad bought a 70 442 w30 in 1982 {I was 11} he sold the car in 1985 .Found the car in 2000 with my moms signed transpapers still in the glove box {bonus} , since have collected all the date correct parts that where missing , starting restoration later this year. Car is reef torquise white strip ,y68 special two tone -painted white roof ,bench seat colum shift ,pov caps ,391 posi ,had 15 442s cutlass etc & 2 more w30 ,sold off for parts to restore this one also have a 1971 442 tubbed caged 750 hp bbc & my summer beater a 83 chev pu long box lowered 455 olds t-10 cutom paint . itll b great to talk some crazy olds lovers like myself lol . cheers jeff

I too have a 455 powered square body; mine is an 80 GMC. Mine was a 5.7 diesel originally. Was yours'?

should have pics uploaded tonight ,work getting in the way .im out of prince George bc just picked up that sweet w25 ram air hood that was for sale in red deer-ab,one of the last big pieces I needed before complete tear down. 83 p/u was a 305 gas originally

Now that you say Prince George I can place you. You sold a couple of Radiant Green 72s over the past few years. As per my message I think Devon has the automatic trans one. I knew the car when it was in AB years ago.


Glad to see someone grabbed that hood out of Red Deer. It was well priced but I had no need for it.

yup auto was sold out of Calgary ,general car carriers I think I picked it up in makenzie in about 1998
