new to here but not cars!

my names mike and i am the most recent owner of a semi surviver 1979 olds holiday 88.someone along the line was kind enough to install a 455 so it runs pretty good.mostly dealing with leak issues and a few missing pieces such as the rear window trim and a holiday 88 badge that goes on the rear pillor.my other issue is someone liked to do burnouts and about ripped the rearend out so i'm trying to figure out what it is exactly.it's a 10 bolt.needs some love but it's getting it as funds allow and we still go to the shows nearby.

Welcome to our site, Mike! Glad you're trying to save the old girl. Little bit, little bit, and she'll come together. Nice to hear you take her to the shows, imperfections and all! I think that's great!

Welcome to CO. Our member 'Monzas' can help you with your query about the 10 bolt but I think the answer is that you have a corporate 10 bolt as I think that is what was in all the Oldsmobile B bodies in the late 70's early 80's but I could be wrong. By the way, I owned a '78 Delta 88 when my kids were small and it has always been my wife's favorite, they are beautiful cars.
