New to Olds,But not cars

Hey everyone,
My name is Rick and my wife and I bought a 64 Jetstar 88 convertible in 2011 from the original owner with 50000 original miles that had been sitting since 1981. After we got the motor freed up and running, we rebuilt the original carb and starter, recored the radiator, put new springs and shocks, and rebuilt the brakes the thing runs and rides great even with the BFG Silvertown bias plys. The plan for the car is to keep it a very original driver until I finish my '57 Chevy gasser project. This spring I'm going to put a new exhaust on, and if money will allow a new top. Just looking for a place to chat about it and ask a few questions as we go. Thanks in advance, great forum with a lot of great info.

Welcome, your wife scored a nice one, I'd like to see some pic's of the 57 also. I love the gasser look.

Very cool car. I had a '64 Jetstar 88 two-door hardtop myself back in the '90s. Similar color. Sold it 1996.
