Hi guys,
I like to join the Olds group with my 1959 Olds ninety eight convertible.
The car is located in The Netherlands and has undergone a frame up restoration 2 years ago.
88 compared to 98 models convertibles are less produced, in spite of this you will find much less ninety eight convertibles left.
I posted some pics in the album section.

Very cool car. I thought the extension to the back bumper with the spare wheel behind the trunk was called a Continental kit? Were these available from Oldsmobile or where they aftermarket modifications popular in the late 50s? Either way it is totally AWSOME! Welcome to our site.

It even makes a big fifties bigger and that's what I like so much.
Ofcourse such an option was overdone and just for show because the trunks back than were already big enough to shelter your entire family in law.

WOW
You sure have some beautiful cars. Like I said that era was sure about styling and some of those cars are really sweet. The guy I got my Olds 98 from has a 50's Lincoln Continental that is red. Had all the chrome redone and is really shiny , maybe he would sell it to you for your collection eh
