Talking New to Oldsmobile

Hey dudes,

Joined a few days back, and my account was finally activated. I will be getting a 1970 Cutlass for free from a buddy of mine. He bought 2 Cutlass, a 1969 and the 1970 for $2,500 from a guy on Craigslist in El Cajon , CA. Both cars run but one needs some serious body work on the roof. (The vinyl stored water and rusted thru) The 1969 has a built motor with over 400hp (What the seller claims) and the 1970 has the stock engine. I am new to these cars but have really fell in love with their looks. If you guys can point me in the right direction as to getting interior and exterior parts to restore these cars that would be great!!! I'll post some pics as soon as the cars are delivered to the house.

Welcome

Welcome aboard

I would venture to guess that most of us prefer Fusick's over all the other parts suppliers. They're a great bunch of knowledgeable guys who know their Oldsmobiles.

Glad you joined up.

Talking Welcome to CO

Sounds like you got a good deal although fixing a rusted roof is a tough job. Good news is there are several guys here to help you out. Post some pictures soon

What if he left a deposit to hold the cars then maybe I would threaten him with a lawsuit probably got a better deal so he sold them out from under your buddy.

Sound like a craig list scam. In a week or 2 his buddy will have the same cars for sale in a different city.
