Looking to buy '55 Super 88

I'm looking to buy an operational '55--Super 88, Holiday 88, or 88. Two tone Twilight Blue/White. Two door, no post. Original engine/trans or a retro mod. No heaps or beaters please. No missing exterior parts. Contact cwh55555@hotmail.com. Thanks.

Welcome and good luck on finding your car. When they get this old color selection can be more limited but the color you are looking for seems to be very popular.

This is the best Oldsmobile forum there is. There are a lot of us guys on here with 50's Oldsmobiles. You are probably already checking there but ebay is probably the most likely site to find your car. ebay becomes your evil friend when you have an old car. You will find stuff on there that you might never find or that would take you years to find. My car came from ebay and many parts on it did. You might consider joining Olds Club of America. They publish a monthly magazine called Journey With Olds which has a classified section. Your could also put an ad in there for what you are looking for.

Welcome to the site and good luck with your quest. You might post your location as some members might find or have something closer to you.

Welcome aboard. I wouldn't limit your selection to any one color. Your choice is a good one but any car you find will probably need new paint after almost 60 years and if you do find one repainted in the color of choice you will be paying the same or more for it as you would if you had it painted yourself and you would know the quality of the job. I think you will find the cars out there few and far between as you describe, not impossible but close. My advise would be to find the very best car you can afford then make it what you want...Just my openion. Best of luck....Tedd
