Just got word I should look into a electronic distributor? Just rebuild whole drivetrain system on 57 - or should I just put old distributor back on...

What's wrong with the old one? Points and condenser are cheap and still very reliable. There are no performance gains from going to an electronic ignition. If you just have to have an electronic then the Pertronix stuff is very good and an easy conversion. Just pick your flavor.

That's the brand I was told ...... No gains, just modern I take it? Believe this maybe an upgrade I can do later on....thanks
