After 6 months of trying I finally was able to get signed in to do post on this web site. I'm the owner of a 72 cutlass S that I have owner since Nov of 72. The engine has never been disassembled until last week Doing a complete rebuild including front and rear suspension. Hope to post some pics if I can figure it out.

Welcome Jet Tech.
Cool having the car since '72, but aren't you tired of it by now??
Six months to get on??
Never heard of those problems around here?
Are you sure you don't mean Reallyoldspower??

I am kind of wondering what you guys are referring to when you talk about it taking so long to get "signed into" our site. Are you talking about server problems? I rarely experience delays more than a few seconds when attempting to sign on, unless the server is actually down and nobody can access the site. I think that has happened only twice though.

Even after I registered the site would never let me post. Always the same message about not allowed access, webmaster needs to activate. Finally re registered under a different email address, and OK now.

It's paid for(orginally paid $3800.00) and I just always liked the car. Love my family but like the car.

This causes confusion for a lot of new members. I know when I first registered I tried to post in the "Main" sections of the forums which are LOCKED rather that the individual "Subforums" of that main section.
For instance I would try to post in the "Large Oldsmobiles" forum rather than in the "Ninety Eight" sub forum.
