hey everyone

my name is shane. i have a 84 olds cutlass brougham. weak 307 motor. would love to do something different and build that 307 just cause everyone says i should give it up. i ask alot of questions cause this is my first project like this, and my first olds. so thanks in advance for being patient.

Welcome you can rebuild the 307 easy enough to get decent power from all i've seen. You probably will never get crazy hp unless you are willing to spend crazy money. A better rear may wake it up too. A 350 olds will drop in no muss no fuss.

Hi! Welcome! Some people say 307, 350 - but all I say is there's no replacement for displacement - It's time for you to put a deep breathing heathen in there - 455! nuf said - all the power you ever need - and fun!!!!

a new rear end is my first thing i think... after i can get my carb rebuilt or a new one and a new intake. i have the 5a heads on it and from what i have read i take it that those are the better ones to have. what rears will bolt in on my cutlass
