Question Hey everyone, wondering what others think.

Saw this ad on line, and it's a little over 5 hours away. So before I make the drive up (if I make the drive up) I would like others opinions.

I'm not looking for a restro project. Want something that can be quickly fixed up and on the road.

Have a look let me know.

Interesting car. What other information and pictures do you have? Did they give you any idea on price?

It looks like it has been sitting for awhile. You will probably need to replace all fuel and brake lines. Hoses, belts and tires, too. As low as it is sitting suspension work? Not running you may need engine work. Personally I don't think it will be a quick project. IMO

My gut on this one is that it won't be "quick," but you never know - you could luck out.

My main concern is that with the tone of the posting, you'll call on the phone, ask a lot of detailed questions, get good-sounding answers, then get there after a 5 hour drive and find that it has no floors and get "Oh. I thought it had floors. I guess I never looked."

Texas car. $500 would be a nice offer if it's going to the crusher.
I would call and try to get more info. If this is what your into, may be
a sweet deal. There are some of us up in that neck of the woods.
You might put out an sos. Good luck. It might be a sweet deal.

Yeah I've asked fellow Northern Lights Oldsmobile members up there to look into it for me. I luck out with my 1958 Olds. it sat for 15years. all I did was points, coil, plugs, cap, rotor, wires and rad. the year after tires. So I've been looking for another lucky find. She is trying to get a bidding war the way it sounds. $1500.00 to start. was thinking if was just fuel pump, battery, plugs, wires, points, cap, rotor and tires for time being it'd be worth it for $1500.00. but if it had holes in the floor, fenders, trunk, then I start to loose interest. as I'm not a body guy. and that gets pricy paying others to do it.
