Yes, welcome! It's fun to see different places around the worlds that these cars have ended up.

Yep Wilkommen (although I'm guessing that's German & not Dutch)
I'm also guessing you're not still driving the car around with those California Plates on. Do you know what the "WTRCLR" was all about? Previous owner an artist?

You're right, new plates now read 93-JBX-2. I have no knowledge of precious owner.

So how did you buy the car? Interesting that it had it's US plates on even though you didn't buy it direct from the previous owner.

The photo's I posted were supplied by the Classic Car dealer from whom I bought the car. On the basis of these photo's I became interested in the car.

Welcome from another Dutchman. I'm in Michigan though. Love the wagon! Any chance you are near Harkema? That is my last name, I would love to visit my homeland someday. Welcome to the site!

Welcome to CO , this is a great site to gather any info you might need. I kind of figured that the photos you posted were from the previous owner in the U.S. Unless you can now grow cactus over there in Holland

I know the village Harkema in the province called Friesland. They also have a rather notorious amateur football (soccer) team called ' Harkemase Boys'

In Friesland people from Harkema are presumed to be tough and easy to pick a fight with.

I'm living about 80 US miles from Harkema and don't know anyone there.

regards,
