good morning, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sam and I'm from Minnesota. I am the proud new owner of a 1955 98 Holiday Coupe, I was looking for a mid 50's B.O.P and this 55 has been around my friend's shop for 10 years covered up in a corner. The previous owner lost interest and the car was not formally advertised, just goes to show it never hurts to ask!! I am still working on getting it fired up; it hasn't been started for a few years. It has all new interior, new motor (350), new tires, all chrome and brightwork has been redone. And boxes and boxes of N.O.S parts! Including 16 hubcaps in the trunk, batwing aircleaner, rocket valvecovers. I am super excited about this car and how I came to own it. I will be posting more pictures soon. This is my first Oldsmobile, and I can tell you she is a real beauty. I currently own a 1972 Chevelle SS 402 4 speed #'s car and a 1961 Bel air. have a good day.

 

Welcome - always good to have another "55" guy on board...I'm pretty partial to them & even named my daughter "Holiday"...look forward to pics.

 

Looks like a great car. pretty cool to find a 98 coupe just sitting in the corner. I sure hope you mean that it has a 350 OLDSMOBILE engine in it.
