As far as deleting the thread, I don't think you can. Once it's here, it's here for-ever! Warts and all.
As far as posting pics, you can do it either by uploading to the site using the "manage attachments" link lower down on the message-creating page, or, if you have them uploaded to a separate hosting site like photobucket or picasa or something similar, you can just right-click on the image when it is displayed on that site, select "copy image location," and then paste the link in the little box that pops up when you click on the little icon that looks like a mountain range with a yellow sky (
) at the top of the message-posting page.
If you do it the first way, thumbnails of the images are what people see when viewing the thread, and they have to click on the thumbnail to see the full-size image. I sometimes find having to go back and forth between viewing the full image and reading the text cumbersome. Doing it the second way puts the full image in the body of the text, so you can see it simultaneously with the text.
One thing to keep in mind, though, when doing it the second way is to not make the image too large (something like 1200 by 700 pixels or something like that is all that you need). Sometimes people post images so large that they run off the side of the screen and you have to scroll to the right to see the rest of it. An image like that should be re-sized before posting to the site.
