Headers for a 70 cutlass supreme convertible

help!

has anyone installed headers on a 1970 cutlass supreme convertible? Hedman makes a set for cutlass supreme’s, but not for a CS convertible. Any help?

Welcome to Classic Olds. Its a myth. The only problem that I can see is you may have to relocate your brake distributor switch assembly. Do you have a column shifter? If so, the headers may interfere it. Good luck.

Thank you. It has a center console shift.

is there any additional bracing in the frame for a convertible? I thought that may be the problem.

I have Hooker Headers comp 3902 on my 70 Cutlass Supreme Converitble with a 455. The fit is good with the only slight mods required.

The convertible frame is boxed but I don't believe there is any additional bracing. Nobody knows where that myth came from but it has been around a long time. From the firewall forward the Cutlasses are all the same.
