Great to be here
I want to say what a great forum this is ..VERY FRIENDLY..
I am by no means new to Olds Cars. My dad had several and when I got my ticket to drive he had a 56 brn/tan for me to drive (1965).
A trip to Viet Nam 68/69... I had saved a few bucks and bought a pristine used 66/442 , dark green - black int. 4 speed -no console. I had a set of
Crager SS mags put on and a good set of polyglass tires . Line lock and it
was a smoker.
I have owned at least 35 trucks and cars from a 68 440 Charger R/T, several old and new Corvettes , Chevelles and Camaros ,restored many 72 Chevy trucks and Blazers .
I stopped working a couple of years ago and spend all my time in my garage .
MY GOAL NOW IS ANOTHER DARK GREEN 66 LIKE I HAD BEFORE .Please if you know of any send me a line and I will pay a finders fee...Running ,stripped of drive train as long as the rest is pretty clean ..THANK YOU

Welcome! As you've probably figured out we love pictures!
Do you happen to have any of your first '66 442? I would love to see some vintage pics of that car! The mid- to late- 60's F85/Cutlass lineup are my favorites.

Welcome to Classic Olds. You didn't indicate what part of the U.S. You reside in. It might help to find one close to your area ,unless you are willing to do some travel. I saw one on Nashville Craigslist with several pictures, that is all there, but needs reassembly.Had wheels and tires so looked like it could be loaded on a trailer. Asking $6000 with 400 And 4 speed ( not original to car but '66 models). Larry

Thank you all for responding ...This is what its all about .
Sorry no pix of my Old 66/442 ...we were newly married and only had a Polaroid to use ...Boy I'm dating myself .
I live in New Hampshire and our roads get salted in the winter so I shop any place I can find what I am looking for .
I have great contacts in Burbank ,S.F. ,Ventura Calf. ..Son in Virginia Beach and relatives all over Southwest..
Just sold a 68/SS396...375 hp Chevelle that was from Burbank (matching everything ) to a gentleman in Australia .
The 66/442 was the very first car I bought on my own except for a 1949 Dodge that I paid $25.00 for . I want another close to it . I sold it in North Carolina to get a new Harley .
