Great people, great site!

I just wanted to say what an incredible resource this site has been. From the moderators, to the informative posts with detailed photos that the members have posted, which are in many cases better than the manuals, to the people I have purchased and traded parts from and spoken with and learned so much from, this site has been invaluable to me during my frame off restoration of my teenage ride, my 1972 cutlass supreme, which I purchased from the original family (I'm the third title, the car stayed in the same household for the first two owners). Thank you to all of you who have made this project so enjoyable and educational, and sorry for being so ridiculously sappy! Lol!

Unfortunately my new job keeps me away a lot, now...

Was john the guy with the signature picture of the olds cutlass with no roof in the junkyard and the "optimistic" phrase?! That always made me laugh every time! Thanks guys!

That was me I have a weakness for abused Oldsmobiles but decided it was time for a new picture. Note the comment under the picture below. Not quite as bad as the 1968, but will still need slightly more work than the average restoration

John, your PM box is full and can't except any new messages. I just wanted to thank you for the part, and for taking it out of a complete car and shipping it in a timely manner at a reasonable price, you are the man!.... Tedd ... I also like the old picture better.

PS. CO. is the best site on the web bar none.

Here is a pic of the car as it was in the summer before the frame and chassis were all powder coated and painted.

Hey, John - I know what a 10 year old with a BB gun can do, and how much his backside can hurt shortly after he's done it, too. I also know that it IS possible for an adult to break a BB gun over his knee if he's mad enough.

My folks knew me too well to let me out of their sight with a .22 .

Great pics, OldsSupreme!

- Eric
