Going through the motions...

Hi all! New to this forum here. Been a member on OldsPower for some time now. Glad to see Richard (Gearheads) has his 66 ragtop resto on this forum too.

I have a 67 Cutlass 2 door sports/post coupe.
I'm currently doing body work on it. Waiting for a new rear deck filler panel to come in so I can get rid of the rotted window channel.
New trunk floor kit installed. A few floor patches welded in. Body stripped to bare metal.
I know I'll have a rough time with finding some of the chrome that goes around the side windows. Hopefully I can find a way to polish the scratches out.

See you all around!

Welcome aboard.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from?
And post some pics when you can.

I live in Swansea Massachusetts.
I'm in industrial construction, i.e. powerplant boiler repair and maintenance. Welding, fabrication (usually large steel members), rigging, etc.

I have a 67 holiday coupe that I restored the frame & suspension 100% but I walked away from the body and interior. Not sure if I want to part it out or work it when I'm done with this one. It's been sitting for about 7 years now.

Here's what my 67 sports/post coupe looked like before I started working on it.

Here's what it sort of looks like now. A lot of work in front of me. Car wasn't as solid as I thought until I started poking around on it. The whole passenger side was creased in from an accident by the original owner.

I have all kinds of parts laying around from both cars and even alot of extras that I got from the guy I bought the post coupe from.
Some day I'll have a garage cleaning sale to make some room.
Looking forward to working and sharing with everbody on this site!
