1985 Cutlass Brougham- Going through a lot of gas

Hello, my 1985 Cutlass Brougham is going through a lot of gas. Its the v8 307 motor with a Rochester carburetor. Can anybody help me out with some suggestions?

what is your mpg? what are your driving habits? how is the motor tune?

Yes we need more info. 15mpg is about avarage for these in the city.
