i have check various suppliers. back in the 70s a complete overhaul kit was readily available with valve seals and rear main. now it seems intake,pan,h/gaskets all have to be bought individually

The KS2613 should have everything you need with the exception of the intake valley pan gasket.

The metal intake gasket has NEVER been included in a Olds gasket set. It's always separate. The FelPro numbers listed above are available from any auto parts store, as well as from online sources like RockAuto.

Check out Mondello's site. Get rid of the turkey baster gasket and block off the heat ports. Did it on my '70 455 and has not burned the paint off the intake for the last 3000 miles.
Hope this helps. I am very happy with Mondello parts and feel free to contact them on how to seal the intake. DO NOT use the gasket's for the front and rear....Mondello seals all their motors with Black RTV fat bead front and back then do a bead in all four corners.
No leaks at all. It took me two times to get it.... until I callled them and they told me how THEY seal their Olds motors.

Just a note to the OP: The above is the only positive comment I have ever seen about Mondello's parts on ClassicOlds.
And, yes, always seal the intake front and rear with RTV - there are a number of threads here on the subject.

Why? You have no idea what the O.P.'s engine is in terms of parts or intent. This may be hard to believe, but not everyone want's a finicky drag motor that won't run in the cold. Blocking the crossover is of questionable value on a street/strip car and of nearly no value on a street-only car with a stock motor. As for the stock metal intake gasket, all I can say is that it's been successfully used on tens of millions of cars from 1964-1990.
