Unless you somehow luck into an NOS drum, they will all be Chinesium. Kanter sells them as well.

Rear Drums 1957 Olds

Thanks Joe appreciate the feedback, only thing that worries me is on Ebay they say they fit 52 to 59 years and other people are saying only years 57 and 58 are the same?

Fusick lists the rear drum as the same for 1952-1958. But in my parts book, it lists the 1957-1958 as being the same ( at least going by the part number) of 571054

Don't confuse OEM applications with replacement parts. Replacement part vendors try to design one part that has the widest range of applications possible to minimize tooling and inventory costs. I don't know what the specific differences in the factory drums were, but with A-body drums there are a lot of factory variables like fins, total depth, etc. None of those preclude a replacement part house from making one drum that fits all applications within a range. By the way, Kanter also shows the same drums for 52-58. I'm willing to bet that they all come from the same factory in China, so shop around.

The reason I point that out is because I ended up returning the 'one size fits all 52-58' from Kanter when I tried putting rear drums on a 56. The fit was wrong where the drum pushed the tire and rim out so much it was almost rubbing on the inside of the rear quarter panel!
