66 Delta in Duluth
66 Delta in Duluth
Hellow all-
I just picked up a 1966 Delta 88 MoreDoor hardtop (complete and mostly original). I grew up on Oldsmobiles because my dad was addicted (69 98, 77 88, and 84 88). My first car was a 69 Cutlass S. It was painted a faded orange over the original gold.
I came to this site to research the price of the 66 and low and behold the previous owner posted it for sale here in 2012!

I sold the 66 and picked up this restored 59. I have always loved the styling of the 59-60 GM cars and now I own one. There are a few small things to fix, but they are easy tasks.
Does anyone have experience with the rolling bar speedometers?

That is a neat car! Good luck with it.
I know nothing about the rolling bar speedo. I would suspect a cleansing and lube of the moving parts would be in order. Hopefully someone can help you.
