I would think not, assuming you wanted to maintain an original look. Just compare the two:
1975:
1974:
The '74's are divided through the middle horizontally while the '75's are not. The two might interchange as far as fitting in each other's slots, although in looking at the two just now, the '74's look slightly larger. I don't know for sure. But in any event, the appearance would certainly not be correct.
