1966 Delta 88 restoration

Hi all. This is my 66 Delta 88 I bought for my 18 year old son. I'm taking my time of having it it restored, and hope to have it running in a couple of years.

This is what it looks like when I got it.

Pulling it without the 2 front wheels.

and the restoration progress on my FB page-

Been reading a lot of posts here, and has been a lot of help. But I still hope to hear some inputs on how to go about this.

Erick from Manila.

You've got a project-and-a-half there. Good luck with it. I see you'll certainly want at least another hood.

Bear in mind that no body/trim/interior parts are reproduced for the full-sized Oldsmobiles. Bumpers, fenders, body panels, seats, you name it will have to come from donor cars. I don't know how many '66 Delta 88's are in the Philippines, but I'm guessing not that many, so the parts you get will likely have to be shipped from the U.S.

Mechanical parts for the engine, drivetrain, and brakes are generally available. Rockauto.com is a good online source. Fusick Oldsmobile (fusick.com) is another long-time supplier to the Oldsmobile restoration hobby. I don't know what their policies or rates are for international shipping.

Welcome there used to be many master craftsmen in the Philippines that could make any thing required. Hope to see a build thread good luck with the project.
