1966 442 Restoration - San Diego Area
Hi to all ... After way too many years I'm finally putting my car back together. It's been apart for 25+ yrs. I'm trying get everything organized and identify what I'm missing. I would really appreciate it if I could look at a member's car so that I could identify how things fit together and what materials were used in various places on the car. If there is anyone in the San Diego area with a '66 Cutlass/442 that would be willing to come and look at their car, it would be a great help in speeding this project along. Thanks in advance for everyone's consideration... Fred

picture offer
scubastever thank you for your offer.. I will take you up on it.. I need some pictures of the edging of the headliner where it meets the sides, windshield and rear window. Also the perimeter of the windshield and rear window from the inside... I need to determine what was there and pictures with explanation would really help. You can either post them on this thread or if you want my email address let me know.... Again, many many thanks - Fred
L69 thank you for your well wishes... Mine also has the Pow. Pak. Assy. 7026051 - better known as the L69 option. I had two sets but sold one set early last month.

progress on resurrecting
well got some more done. slow but I'm enjoying it (I keep telling myself that anyway). Brakes all done but bleeding (new lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, booster (went to dual master). Rear bumper on and aligned. Trunk lid weatherstrip installed, headliner in and trim on. Gotta install sunvisors and rear view mirror. Time to start on the under dash area. Defroster vent, re-install heater core and box, firewall pad and then the dreaded wiring harness followed by the dash pad and Instrument Panel (courtesy of the one and only Ron Roth). All moving glass and channels are in and adjusted. Weatherstripping installed and seated, now I have to glue them in place. I had gluing weatherstripping.... Added more pics in the photobucket, you can follow the link listed above in this thread...
For all that supplied parts or advise, thank you, this project would not be possible without all of the help I've received. Believe me it is much appreciated.

Need a little guidance
could someone please tell me what the orientation should be for installing this clip? I don't know which way it goes or if it goes between the roof and weatherstriping channel, or between the weatherstriping channel and the weatherstriping itself.
Thanks,
Nufo (Fred)
