Welcome. I don't see any questions yet but there is a lot of help here. Nobody will help until you post pictures. Not really but we do like to see pictures. Does your user name mean you have a 40 Ford also. That was my first car and I still love them. The last one I drove (briefly) had a 53 Olds engine in it. Mine had a 265 Chevy.

Welcome. Love the Olds and the ex-Ford. Looks like a car you can drive and enjoy while you're puttinbg those little touches on it. People in our club down here recently imported a real nice 55/98. It was on TV here a couple of weeks ago. 55/56/57 are such nice cars......then again so is every model Olds

Fusicks is a great supplier. They have decent prices and good customer service.

ford40, Try USA Parts Supply for the trunk emblems. My book shows the trunk script part # s12.1821,or try ebay they show up quite often.Love your car... Lost in the fifties still...Tedd

Still no trunk emblem (USA Parts Supply) I can find the ninety eight but not the emblem, Ebay has them for the 88 but no 98.

Nice ride on both examples. I have a strong love for 40's. This is the Standard I put together a few years ago.
