Sweet looking engine. Are those valve covers heavy? They sure are tall.

Thanks for all the support

well today i went to make another instalement on her and they pulled off the front fenders and the guys said it will have paint this week so we will see.
The car should of been painted already but they ran into an issue with an employee.....they had to replace the bottom sheet metal from both the front and back window....... i guess one of the body guys tried to glass it and the painter was pissed( my buddys DAD remember ). He told the guy to tear it apart and fab. a new peace of sheet metal...... there is another guy there that useally talks to me when i go in and he said that the body guy that tried to glass it and mickey mouse the bottom of the windows was fired for the stunt he pulled on my car??????? i feel bad but what can i do????
well thanks for all your info and support it sure means a lot to me........ the car should have paint this week if not at the latest next week. I am so nervous i cant hardly wait to see her........

The valve covers are aluminum and have a little weight two them. Rocket Racing makes those. But be aware for a street application with P/B P/S A/C there are some clearance issues to work through. If you are wanting to order a set let me know I will fill you in on what I have learned. They do set the motor off don't they?

just bought a 67 cutlass last week, can't wait to lock myself in my "man cave" for the weekend. I feel like I did when I was a teenager rebuilding my first car! ( pics soon to come)

I can still go for a few pics of your car without the bumpers on for now...
then you can show the final product again once the bumpers are on to keep this thread alive longer
