Great job, involving kids requires patience and a lot of extra time. I tried with my Daughter's, easier said then done. Great job and huge props for involving your son. Great looking car too.

I should have started younger with the girls. I have showed them how to change a tire and checking fluids. My youngest now being 20 is more willing, I may get here help on the 70S. I also have my middle Daughter's Boyfriend, Kevin to help, he is very mechanically inclined, works in a shop maintaining rental equipment. I had him do the shitty jobs like doing the CV boots on my Daughter's 96 Tercel. I'm glad that awful little car finally died at 450 000 km, no OD or options, awful to drive and nickel and diming me. I also had him help me with a door sensor on a my Daughter's 2013 Ford Edge, fairly involved job. I bet they will want to borrow the car often👍.

My daughters were sort of involved while young. However, I met my son-in-law at a car show and he and I work together on my projects and his! It is great to have help and support.

thats good! I I have 6 kids 3 girls and 3 boys, all love cars. my oldest son wants a car but doesn’t care to put the work in but is very good at detailing them.
my oldest girl been into cars her whole life and married a great kid who she currently is building a k10 truck with lol she is 5’ and can’t reach the clutch he is 6’ lol he has installed a extra padded seat and moved it as far up as he could and she still can’t reach it lol but she rebuilt the engine her self.

Cool, a lot of young guys and girls can't even do the basics. My middle Daughter has called dibs on my 70S, if she does some work on it, only seems fair. She is just finishing her art degree, her talent comes from both sides of the family. I may get her to do a special Dr Olds graphic on the trunk, I have an idea. I will probably be getting her boyfriend Kevin to weld the body panels on the 70S as he uses a welder at work, I hardly ever weld and am far from an expert. I passed Welding in College, but had the Mig as slow as it would go for a good Weld😋.
