The exhaust manifolds installed with original french locks are near perfect the heat shield is plated the correct phosphate coating. The coil is the correct 216 and the brkt is plated the correct cold galvanizing. The air cleaner was only set on it,still needs to be freshened.
I cleaned the trans today, didnt come out perfect has some staining that wont come off.Trans is original #s match, and was rebuilt about 1000. miles ago So Im not tearing it down,The staines will just have to stay.

Ryan,That is correct for 400 and 350,the snorkels are different between the 2 air cleaners. W cars had a black ram air air cleaner just like yours. Im real pleased with the way its coming out. Im very fussy about how I do things. It would be done the same for myself,a customer or to sell.

Got the firewall finished today, and put the markings back,334 is the interior,52 in the body color. These are exactly as they were. Stripped the radiator and refinished it. Also cleaned up the brk drums and found the Green spray markings, this was only on the one drum, the other had no markings. It was also over the top of the black that they were painted when assembled. Drums will be finished up in semi gloss black and I will duplicate the green marking. Worked on cleaning the floors, this has to be the least desirable job of the whole project ,but when done will have a big impact on how much of a nice original survivor style car this was. Pulled the steering column, not only to paint the firewall but it needs touchup work, as the previous owner had a key chain that scratched up the column.

Got the ac box,WWiper motor,Booster & brk master installed. Used a undercoat just like the factory to seal the ac box, this dries hard and it identicle to what the factory used. In the pics it might have a blue look, it will be competely black when dry.

The ebrake cable is the original cleaned it up and put a preservative coating on it,it was in phenominal condition. Fan and original fan clutch came out real nice but when I looked at it this afternoon the clutch was leaking so I put an aftermarket on it. The ble and silver Harrison sticker is the original that was inside the ac box so I carefully pulled it of and replaced the crappy looking one on the outside.

Finaly got around to the drive shaft yesterday. Started stripping it and found that it was painted black from the factory, not sprayed at the end of the assy line but painted black before it was installed. The input shaft (yoke) also had some markings that I had never found before. Will post some pics later. This car being as original and well preserved as it was has been a wealth of knowledge.

Nice work greg, although you know that already. Through the years of self teaching myself to do cars there are things to be learned the right or wrong way. I always love to look at the work of all the other shops out there. I will say that greg and his son rank at the very top. If someone is serious about having a car done I would point them to these two. Alot of times the best jobs come out of the places youy'd least expect. But with that said, knowing greg one would expect no less. jason.

Got a lot of small things done Yesterday, just nothing worth taking a picture of. Seat covers are sceduled to be delivered today. I dont have the positive battery cable, but I think Im going to put the old one in and start it before I hang any sheet metal. God forbid there should be any issues its easier to fix now than after the front end is assembled. Its easier to replace a battery cable than to try fixing it with all the front end assembled. At this point I have a little over 700 hrs in this restoration, that is working 12-16 hrs a day since around the 20th of January, and this was an exceptionally nice car but I also have done every aspect of this restoration from the begining, with the exception of blasting the frame and other small components.
