I think these guys are doing some time lapse photography. Nice job guys. Car looks amazing. I hope it exceeds your expectations at auction. This car was a great find. I'll bet you must be having second thoughts about selling it. How's your other project going? Haven't seen anything about it for a while.

If you like what you see we can do one for you! Our Quality Knowledge and Expertice is second to none but doing a restoration to this level is kind of pricey!
This car was in unbeleiveably nice condition, I dont want to call it a survivor but it kind of was, so the restoration process wasnt as time consuming as it usualy would be. Also I have lots of NOS, replated and just a bunch of excellent condition parts that I can use and substitute if something isnt nice enough. There hasnt been any reproduction parts used on this car by me,the only reproduction pieces on the car are the upper control arm bars and they were done by the privious owner and I couldnt find my replated bars, also have Legendary front and rear seat covers, new carpet, rear package tray and new fuel and brk lines coming.Im kinda fussy, and I do this stuff for a living, most reproduction parts are just junk.

There is NO time laps photograpy! This is being posted just about as it happens.I bought this car in the middle of January and have over 300 hrs in it since My other 69 I have over 1500 hrs in and its not finished yet(needed a little more work),what started as a sand and buff turned into this post. My other 69 442 post is kind of on hold looking for NOS air cond parts and some other stuff to finish it.Selling it wont bother me a restoration like this is expensive and nice cars and parts to do it are getting hard to find and if it doent bring what I think it should it wont break my heart to keep it and Ill take it to the Nats in Milwakee and I think it would do very well. Thanks for the compliments.

Greg, I don't know if you have any pics of your Green car progressing. But if you do, send them to me. That car is really going to be spectacular.

Here are a few I took last year.

Got the fuel and front brk lines today, everything was correct and very nice as always. Core support finished and partialy assembled all fasteners, latches etc correctly plated, nos radiator seals, nos ac fluid line. Core support turned out very nice.Got the tires mounted on the rims. Tomorrow I will finish putting the lines and tires and wheels on the frame. went to Mecum on Monday and consigned the car for the Indy auction, they are giving me prime Friday evening #,they feel the car will do very goods. They wanted to get it in the Friday Magazine but I wont have it ready in time for that.

I am extreamly passionate about how I do things. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. This is kind of a restoration and preservation,I try to save anything thats original that will cleanup and look as new. My problem is I get a little fanatical.

Installed the rest of the brk & fuellines today. Where the fuellines meet is the original hose it was still in perfect condition and that is exactly how it was when I removed the old lines. Hope to have the engine & trans completed and detailed in the next week, then I can install on frame.Should get my seat covers from Legendary this week also.

Worked on assembling all the bolt on components, The cap is an original as are the heater valve, booster hose, open face alternator, distributer,ac compressor pulleys and everything else you see. All engine components, brackets are correct originals and date coded. The PCV hose is original and was split on the carb end, with a little trimming the rest was still soft and still had all the codes on it,the booster hose had all the #s and codes.Carb dash pot and mnt brkt was the original, choke pull is an original replated. Carb is the original and has very nice finish, its just set on engine and still needs to be cleaned and detailed. There is a vacuum line that is original that has a sort of Y shape that is there but not usable so I have to try and find that.

Curious

Fabulous work on this car. Thanks for sharing.

May I ask are you building this car to sell or is it a long term keeper in your own collection?
