Late answering this, but through '67 all the Olds V8s share the same flywheels and flex plates. '68-up V8s all share the same too, but they are not interchangeable with the earlier ones.
In all cases, the cranks need to be drilled for manual trans, and all come both with and without drilled cranks. And almost all flywheels are drilled to accept either the 10-1/2" or 11" clutch.

Thanks very much for the comments. No I didn't replace the vinyl top Kurt - I am not a real fan of them. I painted the car white because that was the colour of my '66 F85 coupe which I special ordered that year.

I have appreciated all the support and encouragement from the people on this Oldsmobile site. I still have some minor mechanical issues to iron out but soon the car should be fit for the road.

Thanks again.

Kurt

Sorry to take so long to reply - my original reply must have gone somewhere else!!! No I am not replacing the vinyl roof - I never liked them very much in the day.

Hey Pat was glad to hear there are other Olds guys here in the Valley.I just live across the bay in Royston.Just pulled a 62 D-88 Holiday Coupe out of a field in Lumby. Can't wait to get started on it.Won't be as quick as your build though. That sounds amazing....Great job!Maybe once I get going I can hit you up for some names of suppliers etc.
Cheers Greg

Good for you. I'd be happy to share whatever knowledge I may have. Where's Lumby?

Thanks for that Pat,I haven't had a project in a while so I'm kinda out of the loop so any info would be great.Lumby is about an hour north of Vernon but the car was only there for the last couple years. It spent 25 in a barn in Armstrong before that.
Cheers
