69 442 post coupe interior resto question
Hi guys. I've got a 69 442 Post coupe 3 speed manual with a front bench split back seat. All numbers matching. Pretty rare huh? Its got the tan interior and the seats are the half cloth, half vinyl kind. The front seat is shot, and I'd like to fix it to match the perfect rear seat. Any ideas?? NO one I've found with make me a factory looking cover for this seat. I hate to cover it in just vinyl, or change it all to black. Lemme know!! thanks

Post where you are, it is best if you find a "local" upholstery shop that can do that kind of work.
"Post Coupes Rule!"
There were 272 '69 Sports Coupes with a 3-speed in '69. Sounds like a "stripper", how few are the options on it? Technically, the bench seat is an option (A52), but deducts $58 from the sticker. Std was 3.23 gears, but Anti-Spin was an option.
I have a '69 442 (Convertible) with a 3-speed manual myself!
Pics, please!

Well, its got power front discs, power steering, am radio, rallye guages and thats about it. No A/C. It had steel wheels and full caps when I got it. It was Gold with gold interior. Now dark blue with gold interior. 225k orig. miles. I'm the second owner. I bought it from my second cousin who picked it up at the plant. I rebuilt the motor/trans when it was at about 220k. 100% numbers matching other than the color and wheels(torque thrust 2's). I'll try to get some pics up shortly, its covered in the garage right now.
