Out getting a little sun. The weather has been a little cool so painting was delayed until it got a bit warmer.

Just received today. New molded carpets in midnight blue. It looked black when I first saw it and I thought they made a mistake but when looking at it in a different light it has a shimmer of dark blue... definitely loving it. Looks like im going to have to get my interior redone to match the new colors. It's going to have to be something in between the light and dark blue.

Enjoying the ride with you on your build. I see you are deep in the might as wells, hard to put old stuff against new and keep your self satisfied.. Keep in mind when selecting your chrome for redo especially the pot metal parts even if they look good now they are 60+ years old and sooner or not much later they will start to degrade. Nothing catches the eye faster than deteriorating chrome along side new bright chrome on a show car. Love the color, she is a butte..... Tedd

Thank you Ted! Yeah I would have loved to send out all my chrome but I'm already over my budget on this build...lol. Luckily the only trimmings that were badly damaged were just the rear quarter spear and under the hood molding which only the lip is exposed.

Yes it does! Both the white and blue have pearl in it and the sun really brings out them out.

Hello fellas. Hope everyone is staying safe out there. There has been slow progress but still moving to completion in the next few weeks. I found a guy who does awesome work on interior and should be completed with everything this week. Here is a sneak peak.

Update****Just got all my interior installed... interior is now completed. I am so glad I went with this color combination. It's difficult to go through hundreds of colors and textures without actually being able to see how they will look before the work gets started.

well, just a couple more chrome pieces left to attach and a brake job is all she needs now. I'm at the finish line.

I like it all, great job, except maybe the wheels. Wheels are like redheads and blondes it is a very subjective subject.

Thank you for letting us ride along with you as you did the build..... Tedd

Thank you Tedd for following me on this journey. My style may not be everyone's cup of tea but we build our cars to our own liking and I value everyone's opinions.
