On my 67 I ordered from Rock Auto, but I used the one for a Vista Cruiser, no this was a while back, but as I recall the Vista Cruiser has a one inch diameter cylinder and the std. ones are 7/8. May help slow the bad boy down a bit better.

Sea Five -Hats off to ya

Thanks for documenting the resto so well, it is an inspiration to dig deeper into my restoration. Are you getting any sleep while your car is out for paint? That's got to be a great feeling.

I was thinking of doing the disk upgrade during my engine swap this Winter. Do you recommend the kit you used? Any noteworthy pros and cons?

Larry

I used the Summit disc brake conversion kit. I did make two changes
1 I used a combination valve instead of the adjustable proportion valve
2 I used a factory style brake booster
everything fit perfect

The car looks great! Is that Target Red? I would like to get mine painted in the next couple years too. With my mechanical overhaul, the wallet is gonna need to recuperate for a while...

You should feel good about it, this car has come so far.
You have done a great job on it.
