i posted this on a different thread by accident but im looking to do the conversion to automatic floor console and bucket seats. Does anyone know where i can get a full illustration of this as its my first conversion and i don't want to make mistakes any help is appreciated its on a 1970 442 holiday coupe

 

Get the factory assembly manual and the Fisher body manual. Between the two you will find all of the needed info and illustrations.

 

Console info is in the Chassis Service Manual (instrument panel chapter), not the Fisher Body Manual. Also be aware that these factory books are written for assembly of a factory console car, not a conversion. You won't find details on what changes, exactly, or how to make non-factory mods. If you are planning to completely change steering column, linkage, etc to a factory console configuration, you will find the info.

 

There are some real nice illustrations and descriptions of the seat assembly and mounting in the 1970 Fisher Body Manual, reference Section 15
