Kick Panels Cutlass 1966

Hello
Looking after kick panels for my 66 Cutlass, the ones I removed had the vent flaps but when I look at OPGI.com page they are without the flaps. But if I look for panels for a 67 Cutlass at the same dealer I could buy them with the flaps? Should the 66 have these vent flaps or not? I guess the 67 will fit since the body is the same. Just wonder since they not list the panels with flaps for the 66. Someone out there who knows?

1964-67 A-body kick panels are the same. There are two styles from the factory. Those with vents were used in non-A/C cars and those without vents were used in A/C cars. You can also get aftermarket versions that have speakers.

Do not use use the catalog of an aftermarket vendor as a source of information like this - they are frequently incorrect.

I'm pretty sure that 67 had the vent pull handles made into the panel and the 64-66 had a separate handle that attached to the bottom of the dash.

The 66's with A/C I have seen used the vent style panel with a block off plate over the cowl hole. I'm not sure about 64/65 but I'm sure about 66.
