Would like advice on installing ABS Dash cover for 78 Cutlass
I would like some advice if anyone has installed an ABS Dash Cover on a 78-88 Cutlass. OPGI has repro dashes for Monte carlo/El camino but no others.. I even found a good dash on line but the shippers destroyed it getting to my house..
Yeah I know they are crap but I aint gonna spend the almost $4K Just Dashes wants plus shiiping my dash there and back.. Hell almost what I paid for the whole car. 1978 Cutlasses with a 6 cyl aint worth that much..
Just wondering what glue you used, and any tricks while installing???
Thanks
Fred

Don't forget to see other threads on our site about dashboard repair.

If you decide to go with a cap make sure the original is super clean before you add glue and install the cap. I suggest using mild soapy water to start and then follow up with degreaser from the auto parts store.
