What car are you working on?

I have a 69 442 conv and the part that I think you mean is screwed to the metal frame behind the upper section of the rear seat. The rail is on the seat side of the support and is held in place with 5 screws I believe.

Time to tell that upholstery guy where he needs to put it ...er...I mean where it really goes. Sounds like it's time for a new upholstery guy if you can do so.

I agree, too bad I already paid him ! Plus, he's 50 miles away ! Kinda limited as when I can get it back to him , would like to go car show next weekend with it, and he don't work on Sat. so I'd have to take it over Mon, and IF he get's on it right away ...... it took 2 weeks last time, cause was '' behind schedual''....I will say this now, I will NOT be giving him any referrals !
