novice question here, trying to install new package tray on my 72 supreme, have the seats out and arm rests. How do I take the window crank off so I can remove the side panel?

 

There is a special tool to push off the c-clips from the crank.
Harbor freight, sears, and auto parts stores cary them.

To install, just put the clip on the handle and press the handle onto the shaft!

be advised the clip will sometimes exit the handle and disappear
