question with package tray installation

trying to install new package tray on my 72 cut supreme. I have the seat, arm rests and door panels off. I notice the ends of the old package tray tuck up under the sail panels, can someone tell me how I am supposed to take it off? How do I remove the sail panels?

I'll check my 1972 fisher manual later, but if I remember correctly, I think the sail panels are a slip fit. It's been over 5 years since I did this, but I don't remember working too hard to get them out. Once those are out, the tray should just come out.

Almost center of the sail panel is a flat plastic snap. Just work you hand under the sail panel toward the middle and it will turn loose. Be sure to pull back the headliner wind lace before removing sail panels. Remove the plastic trim by the back glass, before removing the package tray.
