I am working on a 1970 Olds Cutlass Supreme...

The console storage box lid, is broken as the hinge, that is attached to the lid and inside of the console box, is broken. It appears that the lower part of the hinge (three screws) was attached to the upper edge of the console, and not really to the interior of the box. There is a replacement box available, but not sure if this will solve the problem.

Any insight/wisdom on this???
