65 Cutlass power bucket seat

I bought this 65 for the interior I pulled almost all but the driver power seat. I got the two front bolt and nut off now being a power seat do I hot wire the seat or is there a quick release ?

If you look under there one of the cables makes the seat go up and down and one makes it go back and forth. If you unscrew that cable and stick a small flat screwdriver in there you can manually move the seat up and down or back and forth to allow you access to the other bolts.

That easy i'll see if I can get my hands under it to unscrew it. Is it on the driver side or passenger side to unscrew ? I'll guess i'll find out.
Thank You

If this seat has the switch mounted to the side of the seat, there should be a heavy gauge main power wire coming of the motor or switch. Red or orange, usually. Simply connect this to +12V.

I got the seat powered up but only goes up on one side and still doesn't go front to back I think its broke. I might have to cut the whole thing out on the floor. The problem now is the carpet is glued and not coming up easy. I did get the console out which I was going to do anyway. Its 107 right now too HOT to work on it now. There is a plate or cover on the bottom of the seat so not getting to the cables to do manual.

A Olds buddy came bye today to help on the seat. We got the seat to come up in the rear and removed it. It still is working but when you send the seat to the rear the gears are bad so not a good idea to go that far back.
