1972 Cutlass bucket seat covers....are they side specific?
Just curious....On a 1972 Cutlass with bucket seat covers....are they side specific? When I get my new ones from Legendary are they marked RT side and LT side?

On the 1972's wouldn't the bottom frames be side specific since the handle to move the seat is on each side by the doors. It you switched them the handles would both be next to the console??
But it almost sounds like the covers could be installed on either the LT or RT bucket seat??

BUT......On a 1972 Cutlass with bucket seat covers....are they side specific? When I get my new ones from Legendary are they marked RT side and LT side? Backs and/or bottoms can they be installed on either seat??? OR....are the LT & RT seat frames the same and are both LT & RT covers the same?

Well Joe, the above post makes it clear BUT, post #3 in this thread kind of says that but not distinct enough for me to catch. With your newest post it is very clear. I guess I don't have the mind of an engineer or am not a person who has been doing Oldsmobiles most of my life. If post #7 had been post #2, we could have eliminated at lot of the back n forth IMO!
