engines or h/o thread ?
Not sure which forum i should have put this in. As many know Im completing a tribute car that someone elese started. on a 69 h/o engine what color should I paint the following
crank dampner
timing tab
oil filter bracket
oil indicator tube
oil indicator handle
fuel pump ? natural as supplied ?

I would have tryed to jb weld or braze up a D out of the c . looks to late then again its just paint . I did a set of heads on a snowmobile that cut the 700 flush
then cut 600 in the head 1/8 inch or so fooled many of people

and then I picked it up in a trade for a 1981 chevy malibu that I had for sale. So I'm only trying to add a few things to make it a closer tribute car. Ive aldready blowed my original budget out of the water and still have money to spend on the rearend.

Sure did
Bought complete Dual Gate from H&H restoration in Baltimore Ohio, Got a repro top hat w/snorkel pan complete from Tony upnorth. i still need rearend parts or complete rearend but I live close to Brian (507 olds) in Erie, So I may buy something from him right after xmas, by then the 455 will be in the car.
