69 h/o conv. How many?????

OK, not news

It guarantees [with no penalty for being wrong] that the number does not EXCEED five.

I will do one better. I assert that up to 110 '69 H/O convertibles were built.
"up to" being the key part.

Popular stories over the years were three were built, 2 were in regular use as promotional vehicles, one of these were reported to be wrecked and replaced with a third late in the season. George appeared to have one for his own use (the one with the big ashtray in the door) and there is the recently restored one with the gold carpet that may have bben the west coast car or one for another Hurst Executive. 5 is plausible.
There have been lots of clones built but I doubt it numbers 110.

i have that book and have read it many times and I still scratch my head and wonder do I believe everything that I read?

3 falls well within my "up to 110" figure.
