That sounds like a paint manufacturer's formula number. May have been a special order non-GM color that someone had pull enough to get?
Dave Heilala would be the guy I'd ask as he was at the factory in those years, but he's not on ROP much anymore and I don't think he's ever been on here.

Might L62G052 be a drawing number? I did take a look at my '66 assembly manual, and the drawings have part numbers, with chart numbers for the individual pages. Perhaps as suggested that is a special job reference. In earlier years, cars delivered in primer had 'SPECIAL' on plate - CW
I'm not even sure that code directly has to do with paint. Partly because of that additional code below it.
